WheatonArts 2014 CGCA Fellowships announced

The Creative Glass Center of America at WheatonArts, a Millville, New Jersey, center for glass art, has announced the fellows for its 2014 program. Visiting CGCA fellows are given up to 3 months to develop and refine their work, with access to the glass shop, housing, and a stipend. There are three sessions, April 23rd to July 16th; August 27th to October 8th; and October 22nd to December 3rd.

The Spring 2014 session, the longest, will include New York City-based artist Deborah Czeresko (pictured), Karin Forslund of Nexo, Denmark; and Kyoko Hirako of Nagoya, Japan. The first fall session, only six weeks in length, will include Jennifer Crescuillo of Silverpoint, Tennessee; Maria Koshenkova of Copenhagen, Denmark; and Aya Oki of Osaka, Japan. The third session, also running about six weeks will include Joan Harmon of New York City; Nafune Gonjo of Stockholm, Sweden; Tanja Pak of Ljubljana, Slovenia; and Liesel Schubel of Norfolk, Virginia (soon moving to Seattle).
