Deconstructing Moments

August 10th – September 30th, 2016
Exhibitions

Opening reception: August 10th from 6-8pm.

Corresponding to the unique structure of the Window Gallery, Deconstructing Moments transforms the space into an environment that explores the ephemeral nature of each moment and transitions in scale and time. The transiency is enhanced by the visual and physical gesture of the architectural structure that separates and merges. Just as a Japanese Byobu, or folding screen, separates public and private spaces, the installation of Deconstructing Moments shifts the viewer' perception of the Window Gallery. The sunlight is an integral part of the work and changes Deconstructing Moments depending on the time of day.
