Talebearers of the Flame

Kim Thomas

Sculpting with glass is a unique amalgamation of technical skill and intuition. In this class, we will work on developing our creative intelligence while focusing on technical aspects of sculpting in borosilicate glass. Using the human form as a central theme, students will craft a story or song with an assemblage of objects made in the workshop. At the end of the class, students will have an informal soiree and share their stories and songs.

Intuition and creativity are important components of the class. New ideas, and free thought will be encouraged as students strive for technical excellence. Let your voice be heard!  Individual and group demonstrations will be given.
