Pate de Verre: All The Colors of the Rainbow

This course will explore the traditional, art nouveau style of pate de verre glass casting and mold making using colored glass powders and frit. Students will be making relief designs in clay leading to molds which will withstand a firing temperature of 1600F. This class is all about learning to control color application in glass- to mix, paint and create gradients with powdered glass and work like a painter to explore all the colors of the rainbow.

All levels welcome.
