Leveling up: Sphere, Cylinder, Cone, Bottle

March 19th - April 23rd
Shuhei Fujii |

Tailored for students with foundational skills, this intermediate level workshop focuses on perfecting techniques essential for creating fundamental glass forms: spheres, cylinders, bottles, and cones. Over six sessions, students will take a deeper dive into shaping methods, temperature control and working time. Working quickly and having consistency will also be key focuses in this class. Join this dynamic class and level up your skills.

What to Expect: Students will work together and learn to manipulate molten glass (2000 degrees). Safety, color application, and tools will all be covered in a fun and exciting environment. The hot shop is a loud studio, and can get quite warm. Read more about how to prepare for class on our Registration Info page.

Eligibility: This is an intermediate level workshop, previous glassblowing skills required. Open to ages 14 and up.

Pick-up: The glass needs to cool down overnight, so the students will have to return to UrbanGlass once notified to pick up their work.
