Dena Pengas

In this fun two-day class, you will learn the skills to make items like plates, coasters, wall sconces, and jewelry elements; this and more is possible when working with kilnformed glass. The workshop will introduce students to the fundamentals of kilnforming – glass cutting, fusing and slumping.  Students will work with flat glass, crushed glass, stringers and rods, as well as metal inclusions, to make finished pieces.  Experimentation is highly encouraged. Please feel free to bring sketches and ideas but no preparation or experience is necessary.
