Don’t Get Burned: The Bizness of Glass

Michiko Sakano

This course will assist students interested in managing projects efficiently from start to finish. From, “Do I take this job?”, to estimating cost, quoting, prototyping, and finalizing production, students will learn to anticipate problems, damage control, and grasp the larger complexities of project management. Through a series of case studies we will exam common pitfalls that can doom your bottom line. Although many of these lessons are applicable across mediums, some previous glass experience will be helpful.

This class is being offered as part of our 40 for 40 series, a celebration of the 40th anniversary of UrbanGlass.
