Scott Howe Joins UrbanGlass as Associate Director

 
 
UrbanGlass recently welcomed Scott Howe to the staff as its new associate director. Scott relocated to New York City from Norfolk, Virginia where he was the Director of Education and Public Programs at the Chrysler Museum of Art. During his tenure there he served as Project Manager for their new glass studio, scheduled to open in November 2011. Charged with making the Chrysler's collection meaningful and relevant to the community, Scott initiated a range of programs encompassing new media and the performing arts. Scott received his BA in English from Washington and Lee University, Virginia, his MA in art history from the University of Texas Austin and a doctorate in art education from Columbia University's Teachers College, New York.
