Bruce Marks has always been interested in the sculptural aspect of glassmaking. Africa has been a major inspiration in his latest work. Concentrating on color, surface, and texture, he applies numerous techniques such as graal, multiple color overlay, sandblasting, carving, and etching, creating real and imagined moments of Africa.
