STUDENT PROTOCOL All students are responsible for cleaning up their work area at the end of every class session. All students must stop working 15 minutes before the end of class to clean up and return supplies to the appropriate cabinets. If you find that your work area has not been properly cleaned or prepared at the start of your class session, have your instructor inform the technician on duty, the Director of Operations, or the Director of Education immediately so the problem can be addressed. Students should plan to take home their work from the previous week after each class session. Work left in the Studio over ten days, after the end of a semester, or in public areas will be removed and discarded.
PREPARATION AND PROPER ATTIRE All students should bring notebooks and pencils to each class for taking notes, drawing steps to techniques and recording inspiration. Protective glasses must be worn at all times when in the Studio. Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times. No open toe shoes or sandals. No flammable fabrics such as polyester or rayon. Long hair must be tied back.
